Since we opened Modern Apotheca in 2018 here in Raleigh, we’ve been amazed at just how many people are looking for healthier alternatives to harmful medications and habits. And through the benefits of hemp, CBD and now delta 8, many of our regular users can finally live their life without pain.
When the pandemic hit, everything changed for us, as it did for other small businesses. Not only did we have family members who were at high risk of infection, but a large number of our customers were homebound and couldn’t shop with us like they could before. We started getting more and more questions like “can you deliver my delta 8 to me?” or “can you ship my CBD oil to my house?”
To keep ourselves afloat and provide our customers with the hemp products they need, we decided to bring their favorite CBD and delta 8 products right to their door.
Providing Hemp to Those Who Need it Most
We see a large variety of customers at Modern Apotheca. A large number of our customers are those suffering from chronic illnesses and severe pain. We see cancer patients, people recovering from surgery, old people, young people, you name it.
Because of the pandemic, many of our customers were forced to stay home to keep themselves safe. For many, they were cut off from the very medicine that was helping them live without pain. When we started offering delivery, the orders started pouring in. Customers who needed delta 8 and CBD to relieve pain and anxiety could now find what they need from the comfort of their home.
On our side, providing local delivery kept our small business going through the pandemic. We felt even closer to our community and to our customers. Even though pandemic restrictions have lifted and in-store shopping is available, many regular customers still opt for delivery.

If you live close by, your delivery fee is absolutely free. Alternatively, we also offer curbside and pickup options.
